Here are answers to some of the more common questions we receive. If there’s anything else you’d like to know, feel free to give us a call or text at 618-889-0919.
Check-in begins anytime after 3pm the day before your first day of hunting.
You will need to bring your normal hunting clothes, chest waders, shotgun, and shotgun shells. Be sure to check the forecast in advance so you’re dressed accordingly.
Even though you’ll be dropped off directly next to the pit you are hunting, we still recommend chest waders to ensure that you stay dry.
We recommend 2-3 shot on ducks, but you may want to pack a box of BB’s or larger for opportunities on geese.
At the lodge, you’ll have access to a fully furnished kitchen. Some folks prefer to bring food with them and cook at the lodge for convenience. Others like to hit up some of the local diners that are located within a reasonable drive.
We recommend packing drinks and snacks to bring to the blind.
Absolutely. Dogs are welcome, however, we do not have kennels.
No, sheets and blankets are provided for your convenience!
Our guides work hard year round to ensure a successful and safe hunting season for everyone so please tip your guides. Tips typically range from $25 to $100 per person, per day.
